41...another day another year. Haven't been blogging much...duh. Been busy with other things.
Mary's been studying for a certification test for which we purchased a several new calculators after researching and trying out a few models. Most of them are pieces of cheap plastic crap. No wonder old HP (Hewlett Packard) calculators go for hundreds of dollars on eBay.
Anyway, this got me on a math jag resulting in pulling out a few of my old textbooks. Long story short, I've been reviewing math I studied twenty years ago which oddly enough is a nice reprieve from the reading, writing and oration I do for work. I was joking to Mary that my left brain (?) was like the guy at the end of the original "The Fly" movie, shrunken down to nothing calling out in a high-pitched voice, "Help me, help me!"
So, if I'm not posting much in the near future, I may be trying to integrate a Taylor series. (Yeah, I have no idea what that is anymore.)
