Drew doing his best Calvin faces from Calvin and Hobbes. I tried to get Drew to make faces for this six months to a year ago, but he was too shy. Even today, he was still a little subdued. I'm not sure we pulled it off as well as we could have. Maybe we'll do it again sometime with spiky hair and a red shirt.
For the record, this is a shameless ripoff of David Kim and a young Nathan.

I Googled images for Calvin and Hobbes just now, and was treated to Calvin and Drew's great set of expressions. He did a terrific job matching the faces of Calvin....between you and me ... even better than your inspiration Nathan.
take care.
Lindy
truly wonderful.. he's so close and has captured the facial gestures amazingly well.. cheers!!
This is awesome.
Awesome!
I Googled images of Calvin & Hobbes and ended up here.
Twelve expressions - and they're all an exact copy of the original? Wow!
I'm posting a link to this in my blog, hope it's OK.
Best wishes,

Answer to your comment in my blog:
English is fine, I wouldn't expect you to post in Norwegian. :-)
(BTW: Do you speak Norwegian?)
I should have apologized for posting in Norwegian instead of English, when I referred to your site in the post. That was kind of rude of me.
I'm still impressed with Drew, as his expressions were an exact copy of Calvin (aka known as Tommy in Norway). :-)
We lived in Norway for just a year and being 4 years old I didn't get out much so I never picked up any of the language. You absolutely do not have to apologize for posting in Norwegian, it's your blog, you can post in any language you want. It was not at all rude. Besides, with Google translation service, I was able to read your post just fine.
I plan to do the same with our next son Will in about a year. My wife Mary wants to dress him up in red and gel-spike his hair for it. I'll drop you a note when we do it.
I came across your website whilst doing a search on 'Duplo' creations would you believe! Its an amazing site, you have a wonderful family, the boys are so cute!!!! The website so well constructed, I hope that you will turn the website into a book for the children to keep.
Warm regards,
Miri (in Israel, originally from London, England)
