Mary and the boys got crafty yesterday and made some delicious Thanksgiving desserts.
Officially called Oreo Turkeys the delectable little treats are made with Double Stuffed Oreo Cookies, Candy Corn, Whoppers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, some icing, a little love and a lot of patience.
Did you know a bunch of turkeys are called a rafter? So, here we have a rafter of Oreo Turkeys.

I stumbled on your blog by accedent but I'm glad I did, you have adorable children and your wife has some cute ideas! I'm going to give those turkeys a shot for thanksgiving :) keep up the good work
These are ADORABLE! I am making them for Thanksgiving this year as a dessert... Thanks for sharing such a cute idea!
What are the directions for this Oreo Turkey. Most of it is obviously self-explanatory, but what do you use for the beaks and how do you keep them on?
Mary says, to make these cute turkeys you need: Oreos, candy corn, malted milk balls, miniature peanut butter cups and frosting. The beaks are made from the tip of a candy corn and they are kept in place with icing/frosting. The eyes and feet were piped on with icing/frosting too.
How do you fasten the two cookies together?
Nancy, some icing/frosting should do the trick!
