We all voted this evening in the Tulsa City Councilor primary election. And, when I say we all voted, I mean we ALL voted. Despite voting at 6:40 p.m., 20 minutes before the polls closed, I was only the 104th voter. How sad. I took this photo at the poll where the very nice election judges helped our boys learn their civic duty.
As you can see, Drew, Will and Landon signed the election form or, at least, Drew and Will signed it and Landon squiggled. They were with Mama just a few minutes ahead of me so I'm not sure if they all got ballots or not. I know it was a disappointing election for me as I only got to vote once since they are now checking identification ... FINALLY!!!

Daddy: Drew, are we Democrats or Republicans?
Drew: I don't know what Democrats or Republicans are.
Daddy: Democrats want to raise taxes and Republicans want to lower taxes.
Drew: We're Republicans. Why would anyone want to raise taxes?
Daddy: So the government has more money to give away.
Drew: We're definitely Republicans!

You are classic! I stumbled on your site due to some inaccurate guidance from a friend regarding a discussion about conservatism and oh my, oh my.
Israel support? Republican righteousness? Anti Obama?.....wow! Sooo original.
Your polarizing dissertations running lock-step with every preconceived "opinion" of all the people who are just like you - are absolutely laughable. As for your various "research" samples on the topics you so carefully source are even more of a joke. Let me guess....your a "Christian" too...? Wow what a surprise.
Just like those who are more liberal than you or more moderate than you or more polarizing than you, regardless of their religio-political slant, all of your veiled (and very poorly so) "wisdom and insight" is pathetic.
Every political and religious institution at this point and time and the people who cling so feverishly to their "facts" over the other sides facts, are a pathetic, embarrassing, short sighted, small minded and uterly repulsive joke.
... "flag project" "gun rights"???? C'mon.
Evan, I can't help but notice the absolute lack of any actual refutation of any fact or argument which you so enthusiastically criticize...because you can't.
I welcome a sourced debate on any topic I've ever raised. The topic for example which brought you here*, I meticulously cited and chronologically detailed, but you have no way to logically and rationally attack the facts and the conclusions which obviously result therefrom, so you attack me and conservatives in general. You exemplify precisely what is wrong with liberalism which is the elevation of feelings and emotion over logic and reason.
