Me and the boys in front of the Christmas tree we picked out this year.
Our Christmas tree getting netted for the trip home.
Home ready to be taken inside and set up...which is when we found out that the vertical hole drilled in the bottom of the tree that the stand goes in became too short when they put a fresh cut on the bottom of the tree. All my drills were too short to sufficiently lengthen the hole. Not a problem...Grandpa Buller's tools to the rescue. Just a minute with his hand drill and the tree dropped right into its stand.
Our festivus pole getting its first watering after which we opened it up. The height is perfect, just a few inches from the ceiling which will trim back so that the star just touches the ceiling. Next up, lights!Posted by Don |
