We all celebrated Drew's eleventh birthday today. Aunt Donelda was in town and Ma and Pa came over to share the special day.
Mary made another traditional number cake and, like always, did an awesome job. Drew chose a double yummy chocolate icing on a chocolate cake.
Our happy eleven year old proudly showing off Mama's hard work.
One looong breath later, all the candles were out.
Drew reacting to the annoying photographer.
Opening gifts much to the delight of the youngest one.
Star Wars and Legos...there's nothing better.
Aunt Donelda and her nephews.
Ma and Pa and three of their ten grandkids.
Our schedules and the weather didn't allow us to get to Pumpkin Town any sooner than today. Drew, Will and Landon showing off their best smiles before they were allowed to have any fun.
The boys conquered the haystack and planted the American flag.
Three monkeys...or would it be three kangaroos or frogs...bouncing together? You wouldn't believe how many photos it took to catch all three next to each other in the air at the same time.
With a little help from Daddy, Landon was a dead shot on the corncob shooter.
Will did an awesome job handling the corncob cannon all by himself. (You can see the corncob just exiting the barrel.)
Drew taking aim on the water bottle cannon. Last year it shot mini-pumpkins. Not sure if they ran out or switched up. Either way, Drew beat up the target with the new ammo.
The absolute highlight of the day was a paintball type game with soft foam balls. Will was a runner and gunner.
Drew was a tactician, taking cover and carefully choosing his shots.
Landon held his own and gave his two big brothers quite the battle.
After a long day of fun and excitement the boys literally rode off into the sunset.
