On May 1, 2006, during the lunch hour, the Oklahoma Minutemen held a counter-protest rally
at 21st & Garnett in the midst of an Hispanic neighborhood and business district. The protesters,
numbering about 200, lined the roadside holding signs while drivers passed and honked approvingly.
