March 2002, New York City light display taken from New Jersey.
Beautiful pre-September 11, 2001, photo of the Statue of Liberty torch with the World Trade Center towers in the background.
Sailors and Marines aboard USS Belleau Wood (LHA 3) amphibious assault ship commemorated the one-year anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks September 6, 2002, by spelling out the now famous quote from Todd Beamer, "Let's Roll."
USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) aircraft carrier hard starboard April 20, 2001, off the southern California coast following a seven-month maintenance period. Who says a 97,000 ton (194,000,000 lbs) nuclear powered aircraft carrier isn't maneuverable?
The Longaberger company, famous for its high quality baskets, headquarters building in Newark, Ohio. The building, completed in 1997, is an exact replica, 160 times larger, of its medium market basket. It is 192 x 126 feet at its base, widening to 208 x 142 feet at the roof. The handles are 109 feet tall, 155 feet wide, 331 feet in length, weigh 425 pounds per linear foot and are heated so as to prevent ice from forming and falling through the atrium.
Well, the union/government employees are at it again, too lazy or incompetent to move a dead badger so as not to paint over it.
Very large detailed overhead photograph of the World Trade Center wreckage.
Very large detailed satellite photograph of the Pentagon before and after the September 11, 2001, attack.
A Navy F-14 Tomcat with its wings unswept spanning 64 feet, performing a flyby very close to the USS John C. Stennis aircraft carrier.
Air Canada providing a little extra incentive to fly first class.
