USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) aft view while making a hard turn to starboard at speed. It's fun sitting on the rear of a little outboard motor boat watching the waves. I can't even image what the people lined up here are experiencing.
USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), in the Atlantic Ocean, March 9, 2001, view of the hanger bay showing the aircraft of Airwing One (CVW-1). As huge as the carriers are, there is no extra space.

USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67) approaches the Japan-Egypt Friendship Bridge, March 4, 2002, during the aircraft carrier's transit of the Suez Canal. The 820 yard (730 meter) long cable-stayed bridge was constructed as part of Japan's development aid to Egypt and was officially opened October 9, 2001.
USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) crew spell out a reference to the quote of former President Theodore Roosevelt: "Walk softly and carry a big stick," in the Atlantic Ocean, September 15, 1999.
