What does the view outside your office window look like? This is the view of Capt. Stan V. DeGeus, Commanding Officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), as he watches an AV-8B "Harrier" hover within feet of the bridge window on February 3, 2003, while deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.  
A radar loop from the National Weather Service's Shreveport, Louisiana site showing a streak crossing the Texas-Louisiana border after the Space Shuttle Columbia broke up in the skies over Texas February 1, 2003. The streak is believed to show the smoke plume and fine airborne debris resulting from Columbia's disintegration.

Kfir Alfia & Alan Lipton "infiltrated" the antiwar protests in San Francisco February 15 and 16, 2003, with placards of their own which showed the utter stupidity of the protestors and which bore such messages as: "Except for Ending Slavery, Fascism, Nazism & Communism, War Has Never Solved Anything," "Communism Has Only Killed 100 Million People, Let's Give it Another Chance" and "Saddam Only Kills His Own People. It's None of Our Business!"
