Some consider the event a staged publicity stunt while others defend Everett because, after all he warned Rome. Everett and all those who think you can commit assault and battery on someone for calling you a name if you warn them first should all be locked up until they realize we are living in a civilized society and that the second grade ended a long time ago.

Bill Gates was hit in the face with a pie as he entered a meeting hosted by Flemish Minister and President Van den Brande in Brussels, Belgium, February 4, 1998. Gates responded far more calmer than I would have simply saying the pie, "just wasn't that good." The perpetrator, Noel Godin, a self-described anarchist has done this before to famous people and will continue to do so. Why? Because the police refused to prosecute the little piece of human debris! Of course he's going to do it again. Lock him up for thirty days, if he does it again, three years...if he does it again, strike three, you're out...for life.

William Shatner, famous for playing Captain James T. Kirk in the Star Trek series, sings  a "dramatic" interpretation of Elton John`s Rocket Man at the 1978 Science Fiction Film Awards. (Leonard Nimoy has an equally embarrassing contribution to music.)
